My skin-fix

Hello darlings!
Spring is here, and where I’m from that usually means social gatherings and family parties, which is all fun and games until you get so eager to try ERRYTHING you’ve hauled all at once, because you’re convinced your skin has superpowers and can handle it all, AT ONCE.
So right now my skin is acting up like a toddler turning two, and it ain’t pretty you guys!
Best part? Family gathering this Saturday, yay!

So obviously I would never recommend anyone ever,  to go apeshit on their skin introducing more than one product at a time, but what I do with mine, well, let’s just all take a minute and learn from my mistakes, mmmmkay?
So when I end up like this, I need to have a go to, a miracle fix to get that dewy glow just in time to look fabulous when interacting with other people. This is where I find the whole “less is more” principle to help heaps!
I basically just go back to scratch, call on the help from the snail gods, and sneak in a couple of sheet masks, this works wonders, and my skin has once again restored faith in me. At least for now.

Of course, getting healthy skin is all about patience, but as you might have picked up by now, that is a trait I’m not blessed with, but what I lack in that field, I make up for with charm and an exemplary sense of humor! Or so I’d like to think.

Anyway!
Here’s my “bulletproof back to basics saves me every time” routine

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil (PM Routine)
This really gets the job done, I’m a sucker for 7 layers of makeup, so when the day comes to an end and all I want to do is to get it of as quickly as possible, this is my best friend, but, this f*cker stings more than a pms infused bee if you’re lucky enough to get some in your eye.

Cosrx Good Morning Low PH Gel Cleanser
I hate how he smells, but loves the way he works his magic. Yes, my cleanser is a “he”, no worries! As I’ve complained about before, the scent on this one is not for me, what so ever, but the effect of the tea tree I just love, so for those days I have a cold we get along very well, but other than that we just barely get along.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner
This, I’m not that sure about, it does it’s job and I like the packaging, but I have been experimenting with another toner, that might just kick this one out of the routine, but for now, we’re the bestest of friends!

Skinfood Peach Pore Sake Serum (Reviewed)
I LOVE THIS! There is a slight possibility that I might just be addicted to this fruity little guy, it leaves your skin with a semi matte finish, amazing smell, and your pores look smaller, I would like to believe that this is a gift from the peach gods, created to solve all my problems while smelling amazing, but maybe I’m just imagining the effects? I will get back to you with this when I have investigated more.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Water Jelly Cream (Vicky’s Review)
My worst fear when first starting with Korean skincare was heavy pore clogging creams, so after googling, redditing and dating CosDna this was the one I ended up with, I love the fresh feeling, the scent and how it just absorbs right into the skin, so this might be in my routine for evah evah, she said, right before she discovered a moisturizer from paradise.

Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream
My first eye cream, and I’m still sticking to it, it’s snaily and doesn’t break me out, that makes me a happy kitty!

Missha All Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk
I just love the finish on this badboy, it’s a perfect primer, doesn’t leave a white cast, smells good, and doesn’t break me out, all the things I want in a perfect sunscreen!

Simple as that!
For me this does wonders, these are the products that I know my skin loves and doesn’t reject at all, so when all else fails, this is my go to!
In my everyday routine there are a few other lovelies, but when it comes to a skin detox so to speak, these are the ones I j’adore!
So that’s it from me today, I would love to hear if you have a “Zombie apocalypse” routine you use when all else fails!

Peace&Love
