Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, the hype.

Hello darlings!

So after endless posts about how amazing this thing is, I had to buy it, Stylekorean had an offer on the set, the sleeping mask and the lip mask, and I thought “what the heck!”

But I must say, I don’t see the hype. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delish fish on the skin. You wake up baby smooth and overall it’s a good sleeping mask, but here’s the kicker; it feels EXACTLY the same as the panda sleeping pack, no joke. I felt no difference, and last night I put them both to the test.
I scraped the barrel, or container of the panda, and put it on the left side of my face, the Laneige on the right side, slept like a baby, and woke up this morning.
No difference, the same smooth face, (with a little purging from other products here and there) on both the right and the left side. Shocker, right?
And comparing the Cosdna on both makes me an even bigger fan of the Panda!

Not that there’s a major difference. Both have irritants/acne but the panda has extracts that my skin seems to like, remember Your Mileage May Vary (YMMV).
What my skin prefers might not be the thing that your skin needs.

But don’t get me wrong, I love it, which makes sense considering that I love the panda, only thing I find different between the two is that the Laneige doesn’t spread as easily and it has a blue hue to it, which the panda doesn’t.

I was surprised to discover this. I might not be the first, but I haven’t seen anyone comparing the two, seeing as they’re in way different leagues.
But hey, I’ll empty the Laneige, but I won’t buy it again. I understand why it’s a highly praised product, but if you can get three pandas for the price of one Laneige, I know which one to pick.

I just had to inform the interwebs about my shocking discovery, which probably is neither, and has been mentioned a thousand times before.
But there you have it! And that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

When it comes to the lip mask, I like it so far, I’ve tried it two times, it is my first lip mask though, only thing that comes close to this are the different lip scrubs I’ve tried, but then again, two whole different things! I’m interested in trying more lip masks, because it is a nice concept, go to sleep with dry lips, wake up with smooth kissable lips, what more can a girl ask for?
