Today’s mini haul!

Hey guys!

If you’ve followed this blogg for a while you might know that I’ve been interested in trying more Korean makeup as I’m in love with their skin care. But in order to do just that, I’d have to get my hands on some more, as I don’t really have that much. So today I went mini crazy and did a mini haul. I purchased one skin care product and five make up products during today’s haul!

Let’s start off with the skin care product   ↓

643x643__gentle_cleansing_foam_ex
The Gentle Cleansing Foam EX from Sulwhasoo
Now, I’ve been meaning to try this for quite some time now, but I just haven’t gotten around to it. I’ve been very happy with the last cleanser I bought, which is the ACNE Cleansing Foam from Tosowoong, but as that one is running pretty low I decided to try the Sulwhasoo because I’ve been wanting to for many months. Fingers crossed!

And now the make up products   ↓

aprilskin_019_light-500x500
April Skin No Smudge Eye Doll Brush Pen Liner

I’m in need of a new liquid eye liner pen, and I’ve heard amazing things about this one. So the choice was easy peasy lemon squeezy!

holika
Holika Holika Heartful Chiffon Cream Lipstick in the colour Dark Cherry Choux
I already own one of these (the Almond Choux) and I love it! A review on the product will be out in the near future.

etude
Etude House Double Lasting Foundation in the colour Fair
I’m so sick of the matte foundation I’m currently using so I want to try another. I’ve heard that this baby right here is very good. Ka-ching!

nat
Nature Republic Shine Blossom Blusher in the colour Apricot

Again, I’ve only heard great things about this product. Let’s hope they’re true. I only have a cream stick blusher at the moment, and although I like it, I’d like to try another colour aswell as another type.

primer
Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer
The same applies to this product; heard good things about it and although I have an eye primer, I’d like to try a different one. Oh, and the price? Cheeeeaap!

So that’s it for my mini haul today! First impressions and reviews will follow after recieving the products, as usual. And if you’re interested in first impressions on the last batch of products I got in the post the other day, stay tuned, cause I’ll be starting off with the Supple Preparation Facial Toner from Klairs!

Today’s arrivals!

Hey guys!

So today I found a load of products waiting for me in my letter box! Oh, happy day! I ordered all of them around the same date so it’s not a suprise that so many came at the same time, but it still feels amazing to get my hands on them all, MUHAHAHA! (And that sounds a bit creepy). *Cough* ANYWAY, everyday there’s a package (or nine) in my letter box is a good day! Like I’ve said before; it feels like Christmas every single time! Now, I bet you’re all jumping out of your chairs, eager to find out what I recieved today, so let’s start off with the make up   ↓

20170518_200933

Here we have the Holika Holika Heartful Chiffon Cream Lipstick in the colour Almond Choux, the Peripera Rouge Pang Lipstick #PP08, the Play 101 Stick (Contour Duo) and the Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer Super Longlash eyelash primer.

Can’t wait to try them all tomorrow. Well, at least three out of four, as I don’t have two sets of lips (well…)!

ANYWAY, moving on to the skin care products   ↓

20170518_200829

And here we have the Banila Co. Clean It Zero Purity Cleansing Balm, the Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Boosting Ampoule and the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner.

I’ve already tried the toner and the ampoule tonight, and tomorrow I’ll also try the cleansing balm! So excited! Fingers crossed.

Here all of the products that arrived today are pictured together just like a little k-beauty family   ↓

Ah, the beauty.

And of course the empty boxes, lols   ↓

20170518_200951
Look at all those empty shells!

Stay tuned for more products as they keep coming in! In other words; I’m still waiting for a few other newbies, and if I wasn’t, I would order MORE. Heh. Anyway, I’m very excited to recieve them, especially one of them. Can you guess which product I’m talking about?

And I will of course come back with first impressions – and later on full reviews on all of the products mentioned in this post, as I do with every product I purchase!

Unboxing a little box of joy!

Hello darlings!

Finally something showed up in the mail! I feel like I’ve been waiting for ages, when in reality it’s only been two weeks… That’s how far my patience goes.

Anyway, it’s always exciting when something new arrives, and I get like a little kid when there’s something in the mail. I run from the mailbox and home, head straight for the kitchen, find my green knife (it’s my designated buddy when it comes to opening these things) and we both sit down on the floor of the living room and start tearing away at the packaging. The reason I’m telling you this is because in the heat of the moment I have a tendency to forget that maybe I should stop for a second and actually document the unboxing itself, which I rarely do. So today’s pictures aren’t that pretty, but very informative!

img_8143

This is where you should wonder what’s in the box! (I originally had two, but one died in “Mocka with green knife” combat. Sorry, not sorry.)

img_8149
I’ve also managed to break my light box, my sweet sweet homemade box that is, you know that whole cats vs cardboard boxes? Yeah, when you have two sneaky hairballs it rarely tends to work out having boxes in the house. But I’m already working on light box 2.0!

img_8145
So these, I just love them!
They’re cheap, they’re a breeze to apply and I like the finish they leave on my face after absorbing, I’ve almost emptied one, so I thought I’d just stock up on these pink little snails!

img_8148
Lordie, have you seen such delicate packaging before?
This is my first Banila Co. product, but hopefully not my last!
It’s just soooo pretty, and smells like I’ve just stuck my nose down a jar of honey. I can’t wait to try it out, and as mentioned earlier I plan to use this as a spot treatment for dry areas, so fingers crossed that my skin won’t hate it. I have a bad track record when it comes to honey and honey products, so maybe this will be the knight in shining armor that makes me believe in honey again?

I will of course be back with more info on these lovelies, I just have to put them through the whole sniff, test, burn, smear all over the cats routine!

Btw, we’re having a giveaway on our Instagram!
We finally reached 200 followers, and are celebrating with some goodies!

Mini hauling, once again!

Hello darlings!

So, I’m still as sick as a fuzzy duck, so today’s post is going to be sweet and short, but I will be back stronger, faster and 50% more snailier tomorrow, promises!

After endless double taps on instagram I’ve discovered many exciting products that I really want to try, and after a little googling, stalking and reading reviews I decided to take the plunge and get on the hype train to The Ordinary city, and am I hyped? YAAAZ.
What’s not to love? Clean products, lovely packaging and dirt cheap, only thing missing is seven unicorns on the package and some glitter popping out when you open it!

Anyways, here are the products I’m dying to try, and that are currently on the way;

Pictures are kindly borrowed from their official website.
So rose hip oil I’ve heard good things about, both on Instagram and Reddit, and I think it’s definitely worth a try! When it also costs close to nada I have nothing to lose!
The caffeine solution, I’m hoping, is going to be a miracle worker for the huge IKEA bags currently residing under my eyes, it’s either that or stealing someone else’s, and I’ve heard that’s a lot of work for nothing. Not really, but I found the thought funny.

I’m soooo ready to try these, and I’ll be sure to let you all know when they arrive and have gone through the whole sniff, feel, test routine!

I also got one more thing, and this has to be the ultimate cult product that everybody has heard of, are in possession of, or have oily dreams about at night! I’m talking Banila co.
BUT, not the pink one, the radiance one!
s-l500

I’m not sure if this is new, lesser known or just shit, but I had a hard time finding reviews on it, not that it’s a bad thing, I still need a new oil cleanser before the one I have runs out, so why not try something people adore?
Now, I don’t totally trust cult products, some of them I find to be overhyped, *COUGH* Laneige.
But I’m always willing to whip them onto my face and see what the fuzz is all about, and I will, and you bet your sweet oil cleansers I’ll be honest! Because it’s fun!
So yes, that’s what I have for now!

Tomorrow will be more fun, promises!

Have you tried any of these products?
Let me know!

Peace&Love

It’s time for another unboxing!

Hey guys!

Remember yesterday when I told you that I’m expecting a load of new products and that  I thought they’d arrive today? Well… THEY DID. At least some of them. Okay… only two of them  😦   BUT STILL, that’s something, right?

So here are the two packages that arrived with today’s mail   ↓

And the products that were inside are the Etude House Pure Water Baobab Moist Cream and the Skinfood Aloe Watery Sun Water Gel   ↓

Oh, how I’ve waited and longed for these items. Of course I do that with all of my new products, but some more than others. I have to admit that out of these two, I’ve been looking more forward to the sun screen, cause I’ve tried it once before and it smells soo good!

And don’t forget the samples   ↓

So there you have it! Just a quick look at the products I got today. I haven’t taken any of them out for a spin just yet, but tomorrow shall be the day! At least for the Aloe Watery Sun Water Gel from Skinfood. I don’t know about you, but I will definetely be out in the sun tomorrow!
When it comes to the Pure Water Baobab Moist Cream from Etude House, I’m not so sure. When I took the lid off of the container, the seal was broken, which I’m naturally not very happy about and I have indeed messaged the seller… Having said that, this has happened to me a couple of times before, and both of those times I still went ahead and slapped that shit on my face, which was still attached to my head the following mornings. I’m impatient and maybe a bit too ballsy for my own good sometimes.

First impressions and reviews will follow, as usual.

What’s in the box?

Hey guys!

As you might have guessed from the title of this post; I recieved a package today. I’ve been waiting for it for ages and finally it’s here, past due! Hopefully one of the other packages will arrive tomorrow. Last chance before the weekend! Until then, let’s find out what’s inside this one   ↓

20170504_202105
Can you tell what’s in the box?

Let’s get to it   ↓

The Mamonde Happy & Smart Cleansing Tissues (refill):
If you’ve followed this blog for a while, you might already know that I love these facial cleansing tissues! They’re soo convenient when you can’t be bothered to give your face a proper wash (which of course you should). However, I ONLY use these to cleanse my face when I’ve got makeup on in emergencies. Because double cleansing with a good oil cleanser and a foam – or gel cleanser is definetely the better way to go if you want to avoid those sneaky impurities! But when it comes to mornings, I personally find that these do a good enough job of cleansing my face because I never go to bed with makeup on anyway   🙂

The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum:

I know that for many people this is a Holy Grail product, but I’m honestly not sure how much of a difference it makes for my skin. I just use it because it’s a nice extra layer of hydration, it smells AMAZING, it lasts a loooong time and most importantly; it doesn’t break me out! This is my third bottle and I will keep repurchasing it until I find a serum that I love more   🙂

20170504_202214

The Etude House Curl Fix Long Lash Mascara:
This is the second time I’ve bought this product, and it’s a great one. I’ve tried MANY mascaras throughout the years and this one is the cheapest and the best. Hands down.

And the samples

20170504_202135

The Danahan Silky Radiance BB Cream and the Berrisom Timetox Revitalizing Essence

So there you have it, the products I recieved with today’s post. Stay tuned for more unboxing, cause I’m expecting a ton of sh*t I’ve never tried before! Yay.

Vicky ❤

It’s time for another mini haul!

Hey guys!

I really thought that at least one of my packages would arrive today, but NO! None of them came, not even one… In other words; my plans to do an unboxing post today failed miserably! I expect that shit to be in my letter box tomorrow. OR ELSE?!

So, what’s the next best thing? A mini haul post, of course! And no, I didn’t shop just because I didn’t get my stuff today. I actually needed some of these products (and wanted some, HEHEHE). This time I purchased four makeup products and four skin care products.

So let’s get to it   ↓

The Holika Holika Heartful Chiffon Cream Lipstick #BE01 Almond Choux:
This will be my very first product from Holika Holika, yay! I’ve wanted to try Holika Holika products for some time now, but I never decided on what. I suppose that’s because nothing of theirs (so far) jumped at me UNTIL I saw this lipstick. Have you seen how cute it is?! It’s shaped like a heart! ❤  Sold.

holika
The Peripera Rouge Pang Lipstick #PP08:

Another make up product that practically jumped at me. I love the colour, it’s cheap and I’ve heard that this one’s a goodie. Can’t wait to try it!
lip

The Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer Long-Lash:
This product is something I’ve never tried before; an eyelash primer! My current favourite mascara is from Etude House, so I thought “What the heck? Let’s try it!” and that was that. Bought on a whim.

dr

The Etude House Play 101 Stick:
This is another Etude House product that I bought on a whim. Didn’t really do much research but I’ve heard that it’s one of the better cream contour/highlighters out there in the K-beauty world. And I’ve always wanted to try contouring with cream products as opposed to powders, yay!

etude_mt_225_02_light
The Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream:
Another product completely bought on a whim. Mocka had heard romours about this cream being a “hidden gem” and brought it to my attention, like only a true friend would. Of course this made me rather curious, and after reading a single review on it (normally I read at least 5) the “Proceed to checkout” button was pressed! Oops. Sorry not sorry.
dyn

The Banila Co. Clean It Zero Purity:
This is a product I’ve known about for a long time but never gotten around to. So when my second bottle of cleansing oil is now running low, this was a strong candidate for replacement!

kboil
The Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner:
Up until about two weeks ago my main focus has been on finding the perfect moisturizing cream. However, recently I’ve started thinking that I need to be using more hydrating products aswell. What’s the point in moisturizing your face to keep the hydration from coming out, if there’s hardly any hydration to begin with?! And trust me, you guys; I can feel the hydration NOT being in my face. So this toner will be my first proper hydrating product to start off my big, hydrated journey!

s-l500
The Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Boosting Ampoule:

This is a product I’ve never heard of – or seen before, but it’s beautiful blue colour caught my attention. Also, it helped that I’ve used up a whole bottle of the Jeju Lava Seawater Deep Essence, which is also from Innisfree and obviously from the same line. Point is, I really enjoyed the deep essence but I wanted to try something slightly different. And here we are!
inn

So there you have it; the products I’m waiting for next! I’m so excited to try them all, as they’re all new to me. Have you tried any of these? If so, what’s your experience with them?

Vicky ❤
