I’m waiting for you…

Hello everyone!

Today I’ll be taking you through the products I’m waiting for at the moment. You’ve most likely heard of most of them as they’ve been mentioned in previous posts, but some of them were purchased today!  I will also mention a product that I bought ages ago, and still haven’t recieved. So beware of some bitching, cause this chick is frustrated with a big F.

ANYWAY… let’s get to it  ↓

The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil
I’m gonna be honest with you guys. I just purchased this Rose Hip Seed oil from The Ordinary, without giving it much thought. Usually I do my job when it comes to researching before buying, but now and again my brain seems to lose it’s ability of doing just that, resulting in the occasional spontaneous purchase! But in my defense, I didn’t buy this product on a complete whim either. Cause Mocka hasn’t stopped raving about it since she got her hands on it, and after I read her review, I was sold. Ka-ching!

The Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Deep Essence
Now, this baby has been away from me for soo long now. We’re talking about a year! I purchased this product back in my early K-beauty days, and although I liked it, I wasn’t sure how effective it was. I guess I can’t remember what ultimately made me decide not to re-purchase it, but the other day i realised that I actually miss it. (Weird how that happens.) In other words; I’m giving it a second chance to blow my socks off, which also means that you can expect a review in the near future! Yay!

The Nature Republic Shine Blossom Blusher in the colour “Apricot”.
Another newbie that I’m waiting for is this cream blush from Nature Republic, which is a brand I’ve known about for a long time, but haven’t gotten around to trying. I’m always interested in trying products from different brands, both popular, obscure, tried and not tried, so I’m really looking forward to this. And according to my calculations this baby should be just around the corner!

The Tonymoly The Fresh Phytoncide Pore Gel Cream
Fresh Phytoncide Pore Gel Cream, you say? Who even are you? OH, THAT’S RIGHT! I ordered you AGES ago. Okay, to be fair, it’s not your fault that you haven’t arrived yet. But some person somewhere along the line during this prosess, messed up. I mean, let’s be honest. We have ships, planes, trains and quite possibly UFOs to make sure that sh*t arrives where it should, when it should. And I can accept human error. Things can happen. I can also accept that it takes a couple of weeks for products from Korea to arrive where I live, but not several months. No, just no. This product was lost on it’s way and it should have been sorted a long time ago. #Rantover
But really, they can send me a new one now if they want, but not recieving a product when you needed it, kind of defeats the purpose of the whole thing, right? That’s like recieving your shot after you got ill. And it’s actually quite disoppointing. And sure, I’ve had a few products arrive on me weeks after their estimated date, but nothing like this.

Okay, moving onto something more pleasant!   ↓

The Tosowoong ACNE Cleansing Foam
Now, this one will definetely be a familiar face for you, if you’ve followed this blog for a while. I have mentioned it in several posts and raved about it in this one! The tube I have standing in my shower at the moment, is running really low and has been for a while now. But instead of re-purchasing it right away, I decided to broaden my horizon even further and went ahead and bought a cleanser from Sulwhasoo that I’ve wanted to try for a long time. And that’s where my beloved Tosowoong comes back into the picture. I just couldn’t bare the thought of hating the Sulwhasoo and not have a backup.

The Petitfèe Gold & Snail Hydrogel Eyepatches
O.M.G. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’m looking forward to plastering a pair of these babies on my under eyes. I have tried their sister patches (Black Pearl & Gold) once before, and I loooooved them. I’m hoping that these ones are just as good, AT LEAST. And I’m praying that they arrive tomorrow! #Lastchancebeforetheweekend

If you want to read Mocka’s first impression on the Black Pear & Gold eye patches, you’re welcome!

The J.One Hana Cream
Don’t even get me started on these precious little baby balls!?
I just realised two things after having said that. 1) “Baby balls”? Well, that sounds a bit gross. 2) I can’t know if these (baby)balls are precious before I’ve tried them. But they look damn precious, okay?! And I want them. Now. On my face.

But on the serious note: Have you ever seen a more fun way to apply moisturizer? I just saw these a few weeks ago and I had to buy them. I mean, who doesn’t want balls all over their face? I know I’m preaching about a product I haven’t tried yet, but I don’t care. I still think everyone should try slapping some balls on their face, at least once! That sh*t better arrive tomorrow.

.” -Myself, lol

So there you have it; just a little update on the products I’m currently waiting for. Please let me know if you’ve tried any of these babies, and if you enjoy/ed them! And be sure to tune back in for first impressions and reviews on these babies in the near future!

Last night’s mini haul…

Hello everyone!

Last night I went online to do some shopping, so I thought I’d make a post where I share with you the products that made it into my basket and over the finish line! This is like the title of this post suggests; a mini haul, so I only bought three products this time, but if you read this post you’ll know that I’m already waiting for a few other products aswell 🙂

So let’s get to it   ↓

The Tosowoong ACNE Cleansing Foam

If you’ve followed us for a while, you probably know that this one isn’t a newbie, but an oldie. That’s right. I have indeed purchased this cleanser before and it’s the one I’m currently using and loving. However, I’m running low on this beloved product, and although I’m waiting for a cleanser from Sulwhasoo, I just had to repurchase this baby from Tosowoong in case I don’t love the Sulwhasoo. It’s good to have a “safe” and already tried product on hand, should you be so unlucky that the newbie turns your face into an angry badger’s ass!

The Petitfèe GOLD Hydrogel Eye Patches
These guys right here I soooort of bought on a whim but not quite. Mocka bought one of the other variants (the Petitfèe Black Pearl And Gold Hydrogel Eye Patches) a few weeks ago, and since then I haven’t really given them much thought. Until yesterday when I got a visit from a friend who also happens to own the Black Pearl and Gold Eye Patches. She was kind enough to let me try a pair, and oh my god. I’m not sure how much of a visible change they made for my under eyes, but wow they felt amazing throughout the 30 minutes you’re supposed to have them on and I didn’t want to take them off! So I immediatly decided to purchase a box for myself, but instead of getting the Black Pearl And Gold, I decided to try one of the other types in the series. Fingers crossed they feel equally as amazing as the Black Pearl!

Need I say anything at all? I mean, have you SEEN this?! It’s a jar of cream in the shape of BALLS! The proper name for them would probably be “capsules” as it says on the jar, BUT HELLO BALLS. I’ve heard great things about these little balls and I totally have my hopes up for this sh*t. I don’t think I’ve ever said that I want to sniff little balls, touch them, crush them and smear them all over my face, but I’m saying it now! I want these little balls all over my face NOW. I mean… it’s probably a very good product. Heh.

And remember; I always recommend taking a closer look at any new product before purchasing it, just in case you’re allergic or sensitve to one or more of the ingredients. Personally I always check before buying a new product, because I know my skin is of the extra vulnerable type as I do have dehydrated combination skin with acne prone areas. You can find the ingredients, what they are and what they do at CosDna.

So that’s it for my latest mini haul! What do you think? And please let me know if you’ve tried any of these products, and in that case; how it went   🙂

Two top Tosowoong products!

Hey guys!

Today I’m going to talk about not one, but two products that I’ve been using twice a day for a few weeks now, which I’ve come to love. They’re both from Tosowoong and they are the ACNE Cleansing Foam and the Embossing Pore Brush! In this post, and in this one I said that I would write a full review on both of them, but I’ve decided to do something a little different this time. Instead of doing a seperate review on each one, I will in this post talk about my experience when it comes to using them combined and throw in two mini reviews, one for each.
I think doing it this way is more fair to the two products in question, as I’ve only tried them together, not on their own. I didn’t – and still don’t see the point in using a pore brush by itself, cause at least half of the point with a facial wash is using a cleanser, right? And when it comes to using the cleanser on it’s own… Let’s just say that after I found out what a good pore brush feels like on my skin, I know I’m never going to cleanse my face without one ever again!

Sorry for forgetting to give the cleanser a good ol’ wipe down!

So let’s start off with taking a quick look at the Tosowoong ACNE Cleansing Foam   ↓

The basics   ↓

Product type: Foam cleanser.
Purpose: Cleanse, treat pimples and prevent further breakouts.
Step in skin care routine: First step.

More details   ↓

Packaging: Came without a box, but was sealed with plastic.

I must say that I really like the Tosowoong ACNE Cleansing Foam for several reasons! It smells lovely and when mixed with water it lathers up to a soft, delicious foam. I really feel like it does a very thorough job of cleansing my face without drying it out too much. Of course I expect at least some dryness after washing my face, but I can honestly say that this cleanser is the least drying out of all the cleansers I’ve tried. Score! And what’s more? My skin looks sooo healthy after using it. We’re talking squeeky clean.

As you can tell, I’ve used this a fair bit!

Moving on to the Tosowoong Embossing Pore Brush   ↓

The basics   ↓

Product type: Manual pore cleansing brush

Feeling on the face: VERY luxurious and extremely soft.
Packaging: Simple and clean designed black and white box.

I LOVE the Embossing Pore Brush from Tosowoong! I must admit that I’ve never tried any kind of facial brush before, so I can’t compare it to anything other than my hands. Honestly, I’ve never been a girl who really enjoys cleansing her face. I think it’s messy and wet and it gets in my eyes, nose and mouth, but ever since I got my hands on this pore brush, it’s become a joy. Facial cleansing is now easier, les messier, more comfortable and more effective. I love how the super soft bristles glide across my face without irritating the skin, and when I come out of the shower, my face looks super clean, fresh, pink and plump.

Sooo soft ❤

So how do these two products perform together?
Personally I think that the ACNE Cleansing Foam and the Embossing Pore Brush from Tosowoong are the perfect match. I think they work very well combined and my guess is that they are both great products on their own aswell. I’ve used this dynamic duo for a few weeks now and my skin (which began purging nearly immediatly after I introduced these products to my routine), is still purging away like there’s no tomorrow. I can really tell that a lot of the gunk that my skin was harbouring is on it’s way OUT! This has never happened to me before, and I’m literally so impressed with these two!

Now I’m not gonna lie, I’ll probably test other cleansers although I’m very happy with the Tosowoong ACNE Cleansing Foam, cause you never know, I might come across something I love even more. In that case this cleanser will be a very hard act to follow! But I know in my heart that I’ll never cleanse my face again without a pore brush, preferably this one. I can tell that it’s made a difference, and you could honestly pair this brush with any cleanser and the brush would make it even better. Result!

The packages that arrived yesterday…

Hey guys!

As promised, I’m back today with an unboxing post. If you don’t already know, four packages arrived from Korea yesterday and I’m so excited because I’ve been waiting for these products since way before Easter! I’m still missing one package, but I have a good feeling that it will turn up tomorrow. As always I will update you all when that happens. Until then; let’s get to it!

So here are the packages! Can you tell what’s inside?   ↓

It’s the Skinfood Tea Tree Clearing Emulsion + the Tosowoong ACNE Cleansing Foam   ↓

It doesn’t stop there! I also recieved the Real Nature Sheet Masks from TheFaceShop   ↓

AND the Tea Tree 90 Essence from Leejiham   ↓

As usual, I also recieved some samples which is awesome because I looove samples!   ↓

To me, all of these products are new and I can’t wait to put them to the test! I’ve heard great things about them all. I just hope they live up to my expectations. As usual, first impressions and reviews will be posted, but keep in mind that I do have several products to try at the moment and I can’t try them all at once. But fear not. I do have a system and a plan!

So what do you think? Have you tried any of these?   🙂

Unboxing: Tosowoong’s the Embossing Pore Brush

Hey guys!

So I decided to make an unboxing post, although I must say that I’m not sure if opening ONE, little box qualifies as “unboxing”. Either way, here we are! I’ve been waiting for packages for a couple of weeks now. And today one of them FINALLY arrived! Yeah, yeah. I know. It’s only one box. But to me it’s Christmas every single time I get a package that I know contains k-beauty products. And this is no exeption!

Here’s the package  ↓

Let’s see what’s inside  ↓

SUPRISE (not really as it already says in the title, lols) But still; Woohoo! It’s the Embossing Pore Brush from Tosowoong! I’ve heard great things about this product (and the brand itself for that matter). I can’t wait to try this bad boy and find out if a pore brush REALLY makes a difference in my cleansing routine.

Even before putting it to the test I LOVE this pore brush. It’s just beautiful and the bristles are sooo soft. Let’s hope I love it just as much when I’ve given it a shot later tonight when I’m cleansing my face!

I’ll be back with a full review of the Tosowoong Embossing Pore Brush in 1-2 weeks after giving it a fair chance 🙂

Vicky ❤
